BlackTide is a very complicated, misunderstood cat. He puts himself off as a secluded, detached, "Cool cat" type, whereas in truth, he's just a softhearted little fluffball of a kitty. An ambitious dreamer, and a lover of catnip. (You heard me right, keep your herbs close!) He's also rediculously intelligent, thus yeilding to a very strategic perspective. Not only this, but a natural-born leader. Blacky will take charge when no one else will, an does so willingly. He's not social, but when put in situations with cat's he's comfortable with, he'll crawl out of his "shell" and actually become quite witty. He has a soft spot for she-cats, and is quite romantic deep down. And he has many hidden talents: He's actually quite the fighter, but is not aggressive, and in the middle of a battle he will usually slink away to the back of the group. Blacky's not a coward, but he's one of those "Can't we all just be friends?" people, and so he really doesn't like hurting other cats. He also considers himself a philosopher, and has a unique perspective on just about everything. And one of the most interesting things about Blacky is that he doesn't know anything about himself. Well, doesn't know much. He can't remember anything about his past, just getting washed up at the paws of Seastar and taken in. And one very severe misperception of Blacky is that he's shy. He's not shy. If he wanted to, he could walk up to any cat, and slap them across the face. He's not shy. He just doesn't want to. Simple as that. Blacky's thoughts are quite complicated, but they are simple in that they make a very clear path. For instance, if he thought: Oh, that she-cat seems nice, although she just brushed right past that guy when he was trying to talk to her. I don't think I've seen her before. Then he would think: Perhaps the sociological pressures of being the new cat have gotten to her. Understandably, for a lot of attention is focused on her. Then: I remember when I was the new one. How terrible was that! Boy, I really hate attention.|See? He has complicated thoughts, but they make up a simple train of thought. So, all in all, BlackTide's a mispercieved, misunderstood, and very, very complicated cat. So don't judge a book by it's cover. He may seem detached and unaware, but in all honesty, if you show him some kindness, he'll really begin to like you, and that'll earn you a very loyal friend.
